Kati has always found beauty in collectibles of distinction, from the simplest to the richest and most ornate.

Kati's family emigrated to Canada from Budapest, Hungary, in the late fifties. Her mother, a well-known designer and artist in both Europe and Canada, encouraged Kati, even at a young age, to explore her artistic side. The talent of this British Columbia artist has spanned many arts and crafts, with their roots in several cultures.

In addition to being an accomplished pianist, she sang professionally with a folk group, has been involved in dance and majored in theatre arts at university. Although her Master's Degree and her career are in Education, her heart is with her artistic endeavours.

Several years ago, Kati turned her talents to floral design, starting her own company. Her overwhelming success with Victorian Florals motivated her to further study Victorian design and this, combined with her European background, has largely influenced the design of her Olde World Santas.

In her Santas, Kati has created authentic Canadian treasures, made in the finest European tradition of hand craftsmanship.
